MTV Act; What Would Linkin Park Miss Without Electricity

More parts of Linkin Park’s interview with the MTV Act Blog, this time Chester and Mike are answering the following question:

What would you miss without electricity?

We asked Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda and Chester Bennington what they’d miss most without power and while we were kinda hoping one of them would say something like, “underwater basket weaving,” but their answers were sooooo sweet as is.

Why did we ask the guys this question? Welp, in the second installment of our virtual shrine to Linkin Park, we told y’all about their incredible work with Power The World – the band’s campaign that gives solar-powered light bulbs to communities in need. We also learned that, according to the UN, 1 in 5 people in the world live without electricity! So we HAD to ask Mike and Chester what they’d miss the most without electricity. Watch their responses below.

Right now, most of the people we love are just a Tweet or a phone call away. We often take advantage of this fact, but Mike knows how lucky we are. “I have a lot of friends and family that are far away…and not being able to just immediately contact them would be really difficult,” he said. Um, do you LOVE HIM as much as I do?

“If I had no access to electricity, I would probably miss just about everything,” said Chester. “I’m pretty sure that I would be able to name a thousand things that I would miss.”
